I often imagine how awesome it would be to have had an opportunity to sit with a straightforward Woman of God, where I could garner wisdom from her encounters as a Pastor’s Wife. I find this calling to be a unique role that often goes unshared.
I picture myself sitting with a first time Pastor’s Wife, face to face just the two of us, in a well-lit room where she can clearly see the truth and grace of this blessed, but unique Call on her life in Ministry.
As I was released to ink the pages of this book with the wisdom I’ve received from my own experiences as a Pastor’s Wife, I believe the information provided will be a blessing to a Pastor’s Wife, but additionally to anyone that the Lord is pruning for purpose.
I pray my book will encourage and inspire you for your journey to purpose!

A common response to my book title A Call to First Lady is: “ But I’m not a First Lady… ”I would encourage you to focus on A Call: Every believer has been called to a purpose or some thing bigger than themselves. My calling happened to be to a First Lady, but your Call may be to an Evangelist, Teacher, or perhaps an encourager in the Body of Christ. Whatever God calls you to, He will complete in you. This book provides plenty of experiences where the Lord used various opportunities to cultivate the call on my life. I believe my experiences may assist in understanding how and why the Lord moves the way He moves in our lives for our specific purposes.
Secondly, if you are called to a position of First Lady, you will relate!
And third, if you are a congregant, you have a First Lady; and A Call to First Lady, will help you to understand the importance of your Pastor’s Wife's role in the overarching vision in which she is helping her Husband/Pastor to carry. And help you to honor and respect her role as she fulfills her purpose, which is the call on her life and set by god to co-labor and equip the congregation.
However, you are affectionately affected by either of the above examples, you will be positioned to receive a clearer perspective of the preparation of A Call! as a believer, You are Called to a purpose! My prayer is that my book along (with the work of the Holy Spirit), will position you for your Call.
